Painting and decorating

Two years, has it really been that long!

I recently decided I need to write more. Well, it makes sense really, if I am going to become a writer, I need to write more! I sat there wondering how I was actually going to do this and realised that I had missed something so obvious that it came up and slapped me square in the face with a wet fish!! I HAVE A BLOG!

I loaded up my website and sat there staring in disbelief, had it really been 2 years since I had actually written anything on here. Don’t time fly when you are too busy with other things? The last thing I wrote was Working from home (well sort of!) on the 6th May 2020.

Well, what has happened in the last two years? ………..

Honestly, apart from Covid, nothing really. We do now have a new puppy, Ted (Wolfie’s not-so-little brother), and Josh (my grown-up child) is now working for the business (it is literally family-run now). Oh, and I have nearly completed another 2 years of my degree. But in the grand scheme of things, nothing spectacular has happened, nothing life-changing. We still haven’t made it abroad because Tunisia kept being canceled (not by us by the way lol), the business is growing slowly but surely and I still work full time as a manager in the Civil Service.

One thing that has changed is that I have had to set up a new Facebook page for Life with a Decorator (a blog about being hacked and subsequently blocked by Facebook to follow soon) and made a new resolution to start writing this blog again, and as much as possible! I sat down this morning and decided to revamp my website (I haven’t really changed the theme because that seemed like too much work and procrastinating from actual writing) and here I am, sitting in my study (the box room) and typing this!

There is a lot more to come, mainly because I have soooo much to say about the holidays in the UK we’ve managed to go on, Facebook blocking me, and a hysterical recent event where Kev broke down in a brand new electric car. More to come very soon!!!
